Dee Dee Small Step Campaign Update

We're happy to announce that Dee Dee's campaign to celebrate her 15 years with Alzheimers North Carolina was an overwhelming success! Though the goal was $15,000, supporters raised $20,0000. Because of continuing questions about supporting the campaign, the donation portal will remain online and checks or cash will be accepted by mail through the end of April.

Funds were raised through both contributions made to AlzNC and to the organizations of the skydivers who joined Dee Dee in her jump on April 12: Marcia Jarrell, SarahCare Adult Day Center; Claire Severt, Brighton Gardens of Raleigh (a Sunrise community), Johnathan Rodriguez, Always Best Care; and Sommer Prestiani, Aging Outreach Services.

A tremendous thank you goes to Triangle Skydiving Company for donating their time and resources, making this jump a safe and successful one, documenting Dee Dee's journey.

All money raised by the campaign will support North Carolina families dealing with Alzheimer's or other dementias.

If you have images from the day of the jump, please send them to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  or post them on our Facebook page.
